UB Earrings

I was exploring geometric compositions with simple elements to form an elegant and light weight piece for everyday wear. The well-recognised structural steel profile – Universal Beam (UB) juxtapose with a simple circular hoop, and intersecting with a rectangular bar.

The separable parts make the earrings fun to wear, with flexibility to wear all or some of the parts, as well as in different orientations.

Sterling silver hoops and studs with brass bar (UB) in the middle. Hoop is about 25mm in diameter.
