Wall vent earrings

These silver studs are shaped like two different types of wall vents usually locate outside of an exterior wall where unwanted air from the inside is exhausted through to the environment. The notion of releasing and letting go of something no long serving its purpose was experienced through the making process. The imperfections that were intentionally or unintentionally marked on the earrings are my take on embracing mistakes and be experimental. The letting go of perfection in this instance resulted in a pair of earrings that are better than what I originally set out to achieve.

Small sterling silver studs - about 8 x 8mm.
