Chain Lock Necklace

A desire to create a front access necklace + looked at too much door hardware at work = Chain Lock Necklace

The creation process gave me an opportunity to look beyond the practical use of an everyday object, and brought out its beauty that would not normally be appreciated in its usual setting.

Sterling silver body and chain. The pendant body is about 15mm tall by 65mm wide.
